Get used to እንጠቀማለን

be used to ሁኔታን (“አስቀድሞ ከአንድ ነገር ጋር ተለማምዶ መሆን”) ሲገልጽ፣ get used to ግን ከአንድ ነገር ጋር መለመድ የሚካሄድበትን ሂደት ይጠቃልማል። ነገር አዲስ ወይም መጀመሪያ ላይ አስቸጋሪ ሲሆን እና በቀስታ በቀስታ የበለጠ የተለመደ ሲሆን እንጠቀማለን።

ይህ አቀራረብ በተለያዩ የጊዜ ቅርጾች ሊጠቀም ይችላል፦ get / gets used to, am / is / are getting used to, got used to, was / were getting used to, will get used to, እና ሌሎችም።

Present Simple (get / gets used to) ብዙ ጊዜ “በጊዜ ሂደት ልማድ ይሆናል” (አጠቃላይ ሂደት) ማለት ሲሆን፣ ነገር ግን Present Continuous (am / is / are getting used to) “አሁን በመልመድ ላይ ነው” ብሎ ያበራራል።

በኋላ ጊዜ ውስጥ ውጤት እና ሂደትን መለየት አስፈላጊ ነው፦
got used to = ለዚያ ነገር ተለማመደ (ውጤት),

will be used to = እሱን ቀድሞ ተለማመዶ ይሆናል (ሁኔታ).

I get used to my new job a little more every week.
እያንዳንዱ ሳምንት አዲሱ ሥራዬን በትንሹ በትንሹ ይበልጥ እለማመዳለሁ።
She gets used to long working hours over time.
እሷ በጊዜ ሂደት ረጅም የሥራ ሰዓታትን ማለመድ ትጀምራለች።
I am getting used to the new routine.
እኔ አዲሱን ሥርዓት ለመለማመድ እየተለመድሁ ነው።
I was getting used to the new routine when the schedule changed again.
አዲሱን ልማድ ልለማመድ ስጀምር ነበር ፣ መርሃ ግብሩ ደግሞ እንደገና ተቀየረ።

አትጨነቅ — በስብሰባዎች ውስጥ መናገርን በቅርቡ ትለማመዳለህ።
In a few months, you will be used to the new system.
በጥቂት ወራት ውስጥ ከአዲሱ ስርዓት ጋር ይለመዳሉ።

Get used to ቅርጽ

ከget used to ጋር ያለው መሠረታዊ አቀራረብ ከbe used to ጋር ያለው ተመሳሳይ ነው፦ ከused to በኋላ ገረንድ (ግስ + -ing) ወይም ስም እንጠቀማለን። ብቻ ልዩነቱ ዋናው ግስ ነው፦ ከbe ይልቅ get (ወይም የእሱን ቅጽ) እንጠቀማለን።

  • በዚህ መዋቅር ውስጥ used to በኋላ ሁልጊዜ ስም ወይም -ing ያለበት ግስ እንጠቀማለን፣ ኢንፊኒቲቭን አይደለም። ይህም ከ be used to ጋር ያለው ህግ ተመሳሳይ ነው።
