To get used to: stavki, vaje, testi in primeri

Get used to uporabljamo

Medtem ko be used to opisuje stanje („že navajen na nekaj“), se get used to nanaša na proces navajanja na nekaj. Uporabimo ga, ko je nekaj sprva novo ali težko, vendar postopoma postaja bolj poznano.

To strukturo lahko uporabljamo v različnih časih: get / gets used to, am / is / are getting used to, got used to, was / were getting used to, will get used to itd.

Present Simple (get / gets used to) pogosto pomeni »sčasoma se navadi« (splošen proces), medtem ko Present Continuous (am / is / are getting used to) poudarja »se navaja na to prav zdaj«.

Pomembno je ločiti rezultat in proces v preteklosti:
got used to = se je navadil na to (rezultat),
was / were getting used to = se je navajal na to (proces).

V prihodnosti običajno uporabljamo:
will get used to = se bo navadil na to (proces),
will be used to = bo tega že vajen (stanje).
