Uncountable and Plural Nouns نستخدم

Uncountable and Plural Nouns شكل

من المهم هنا التمييز بين الأسماء غير المعدودة، التي تُعامل عادةً على أنها مفردة، والأسماء التي تنتهي بـ -s لكنها مفردة في المعنى، والأسماء التي لها صيغة جمع فقط، وبالتالي تأخذ فعلاً جمعاً.

  • تُعامَل كلمة Police دائمًا على أنها جمع: the police are. وقد تُفهَم بعض أسماء الجمع الأخرى، مثل team أو family، إما على أنها وحدة واحدة أو على أنها مجموعة من الأشخاص.
