Uncountable and Plural Nouns koristimo

Nebrojive imenice obično se tretiraju kao jednina: information, advice, furniture. Osim toga, neke imenice završavaju na -s, ali se i dalje tretiraju kao jednina: news, physics, politics. Druge imenice, međutim, postoje samo u množinskom obliku: clothes, scissors, trousers, glasses. Uncountable and Plural Nouns Oblik

  • Neke imenice završavaju na -s, ali se i dalje tretiraju kao jednina i uz njih ide glagol u jednini.

  • Neke imenice postoje samo u množinskom obliku, pa zato uzimaju glagol u množini.

  • S imenicama za stvari sastavljene od dvaju odgovarajućih dijelova, kao što su škare, hlače i naočale, često upotrebljavamo par.
