Demonstrative Pronouns Form

Biçim iki şeye bağlıdır: tekil ya da çoğul ve yakın ya da uzak. Bu kelimeler bir isimden önce gelebilir ya da bir isim olmadan tek başına durabilir.

Demonstrative Pronouns Kural

  • Konuşmacıya yakın olan şeyler için this ve these kullanın: fiziksel olarak yakın olanlar, bir resimde olanlar, elinizde olanlar veya içinde bulunulan durumdaki şeyler.
    This phone is new.

  • Konuşmacıdan daha uzakta olan şeyler için that ve those kullanın: fiziksel olarak uzak, “şurada”, dinleyiciye daha yakın olan veya artık şu anki zamanda bulunmayan şeyler.

Demonstrative Pronouns Yaygın hatalar

Yaygın hatalar genellikle sayı ile ilgilidir: this / that çoğul isimlerle kullanılamaz ve these / those için are fiili gerekir.
