Present Simple Kural

  • Üçüncü tekil şahısta (he/she/it) fiile -s veya -es eklenir.
    He works in an office.
    She watches online courses.
  • Üçüncü tekil şahıs için yazım kuralları:
    • -o, -sh, -ch, -ss, -x ile biten fiiller → -es eklenir
      He goes to the gym.
      She washes the dishes.
    • ünsüz + y ile biten fiil → y, ies olur
      He studies English every day.
    • ünlü + y ile biten fiil → sadece -s eklenir
      She plays tennis on Sundays.
  • Sıklık zarfları genellikle ana fiilden önce ve to be fiilinden sonra gelir.
    I always check my email in the morning.
    She is often late for meetings.
  • Present Simple genellikle zaman çizelgeleri ve düzenli olaylar için kullanılır.
    The meeting starts at 10.
    Our team call takes place every Monday.
  • Bazı fiiller (örneğin know, like, love, hate, understand, believe) genellikle continuous formda kullanılmaz.
    I know the answer.
    She likes this app.

  • Evet/Hayır soruları do ve does yardımcı fiilleriyle kurulur.

  • does'tan sonra ana fiil temel haliyle (-s olmadan) kullanılır.
    Does she work on Sundays?
    Does he play tennis?
  • Kısa cevaplar:
    Do you like coffee?
    — Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
    Does he study English?
    — Yes, he does. / No, he doesn’t.
  • Wh soruları soru kelimesi + do/does ile kurulur.

  • Soru özne hakkında olduğunda do/does kullanılmaz.
