Present Simple përdoret për të shprehur zakone, fakte të përgjithshme, orare dhe situata të përhershme.


  • Zakonet dhe rutina
    I usually drink coffee in the morning.
    Zakonisht pi kafe në mëngjes.
  • Fakte dhe të vërteta të përgjithshme
    Water boils at 100°C.
    Uji vlon në 100°C.
  • Orarë dhe orare kohore
    The train leaves at 8:30.
    Treni niset në orën 8:30.
  • Situata të përhershme ose afatgjata
    She works in a software company.
    Ajo punon në një kompani softuerësh.

Present Simple Formë

Subject + V1
He / She / It + V1(+s)

I work from home three days a week. She works from home three days a week.

Present Simple Rregull

  • Në vetën e tretë njëjës (he/she/it) shtojmë -s ose -es.
    He works in an office.
    She watches online courses.
  • Rregullat drejtshkrimore për vetën e tretë njëjës:
    • foljet që mbarojnë me -o, -sh, -ch, -ss, -x → shtojmë -es
      He goes to the gym.
      She washes the dishes.
    • folje që mbaron me bashkëtingëllore + y → y bëhet ies
      He studies English every day.
    • folje që mbaron me zanore + y → thjesht shtojmë -s
      She plays tennis on Sundays.
  • Ndajfoljet e shpeshtësisë zakonisht vendosen para foljes kryesore dhe pas foljes to be.
    I always check my email in the morning.
    She is often late for meetings.
  • Present Simple përdoret shpesh për orare, plane dhe ngjarje të rregullta.
    The meeting starts at 10.
    Our team call takes place every Monday.
  • Disa folje (si know, like, love, hate, understand, believe) zakonisht nuk përdoren në forma të vazhdueshme.
    I know the answer.
    She likes this app.

Present Simple Mohim

I / you / we / they do not (don’t) + V1
he / she / it does not (doesn’t) + V1

I don’t drink coffee in the evening.
He doesn’t check messages at night.

Present Simple Pyetje

  • Pyetjet Po/Jo formohen me ndihmësfoljet do dhe does.

    Do + I / you / we / they + V1?
    Does + he / she / it + V1?

    Do you work from home?
    Does she work on Sundays?
  • Pas does, folja kryesore përdoret në formën bazë (pa -s).
    Does she work on Sundays?
    Does he play tennis?
  • Përgjigje të shkurtra:
    Do you like coffee?
    — Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
    Does he study English?
    — Yes, he does. / No, he doesn’t.
  • Pyetjet me fjalë pyetëse formohen me fjalë pyetëse + do/does.

    Wh-word + do + I / you / we / they + V1?

  • Kur pyetja është për kryefjalën, do/does nuk përdoret.
