Singular and Plural Nouns Form

Çoğu sayılabilen isimin bir tekil ve bir çoğul biçimi vardır. Bir tekil sayılabilen isim, genellikle önünde bir sözcük olmadan tek başına kullanılamaz: bu sözcük çoğu zaman a/an olur, ancak the, this, that, my ve benzeri sözcükler de olabilir. Çoğul biçim genellikle -s veya -es ile yapılır, ancak bazı isimlerin düzensiz çoğul biçimleri vardır.

  • Tekil sayılabilir bir isim genellikle önünde bir kelimeye ihtiyaç duyar. Bu çoğu zaman a/an olur, ancak the, this, that, my ve benzeri kelimeler de olabilir. Genellikle ayı ünsüz sesinden önce, anı ise ünlü sesinden önce kullanırız.
