First Conditional pravidlo, príklady, cvičenia a testy

First Conditional používame

Používame ju, keď hovoríme o reálnej situácii v budúcnosti: ak sa splní podmienka, bude nasledovať výsledok.

First Conditional Forma

if-part (Conditional)	main part Result
if + subject + Present Simple	subject + Future Simple

If + subject + Present Simple, subject + will + V.
Subject + will + V + if + subject + Present Simple.

If it rains, I will stay at home.
Ak bude pršať, zostanem doma.

First Conditional Pravidlo

Poradie častí nie je dôležité.

If the weather doesn’t improve, we’ll stay at home.

We’ll stay at home if the weather doesn’t improve.
Ak je podmienená časť ako prvá, dávame za ňu čiarku.

If you study, you will pass.

You will pass if you study.
V hlavnej časti možno sloveso „will“ nahradiť modálnymi slovesami: can, might, may, should, must или be going to
If we hurry up, we can catch the last train.
Ak si pospíšime, stihneme posledný vlak.

If we call a taxi, we might get there sooner.
Ak zavoláme taxík, môžeme tam prísť skôr.

If you finish the report today, we may send it to the client tomorrow.
Ak dnes dokončíš správu, zajtra ju môžeme poslať klientovi.

If you feel tired, you should take a short break.
Ak sa cítiš unavený, mal by si si dať krátku prestávku.

If you want to enter the lab, you must wear protective glasses.
Ak chceš vstúpiť do laboratória, musíš mať ochranné okuliare.

If you don’t hurry, we’re going to miss the train.
Ak sa nepoponáhľaš, zmeškáme vlak.

First Conditional Negácia

v podmienkovej časti (po if) — používame Present Simple + don't / doesn't
If you don’t hurry, we’ll be late.
Ak sa nepoponáhľame, prídeme neskoro.
v hlavnej časti — jednoducho pridáme zápor k will alebo modálnemu slovesu
If it rains, we won’t go outside.
Ak bude pršať, nepôjdeme von.

If you study hard, you might not fail the test.
Ak sa budeš usilovne učiť, možno neprepadneš na teste.

First Conditional Otázky

Otázka sa tvorí ako bežná otázka v budúcom čase, zostáva len vedľajšia veta s if.

Will + subject + V1 + if + Present Simple?
Wh-word + will + subject + V1 + if + Present Simple?

Will you stay at home if it rains?
Zostaneš doma, ak bude pršať?

What will you do if the app doesn’t load?
Čo urobíte, ak sa aplikácia nenačíta?

Where will you go if the weather is nice tomorrow?
Kam pôjdeš, ak bude zajtra pekné počasie?

Who will you invite if you organize a party this weekend?
Koho pozveš, ak tento víkend zorganizuješ večierok?

When will you start working on it if they approve the plan?
Kedy na tom začneš pracovať, ak schvália ten plán?

Why will she be upset if you don’t call her back?
Prečo bude rozrušená, ak jej nezavoláš späť?

Which project will you choose if they give you multiple options?
Ktorý projekt si vyberieš, ak ti dajú viacero možností?

How will you feel if the test goes better than expected?
Ako sa budeš cítiť, ak test dopadne lepšie, než sa očakávalo?

First Conditional Typické chyby

❌ If it will rain, we will cancel.

If you go to bed earlier, you will feel better tomorrow.
Ak pôjdeš spať skôr, zajtra sa budeš cítiť lepšie.
