There is / There are-ը օգտագործվում է ասելու համար, որ ինչ-որ բան գոյություն ունի, ներկա է կամ գտնվում է որևէ տեղում։ Այս կառուցվածքը օգնում է զրույցում ներկայացնել անձ, իր կամ առարկա։

Ձևը կախված է նրանից, թե արդյոք մենք խոսում ենք մեկ բանի / անհաշվելի գոյականի մասին, թե մեկից ավելի բանի մասին։
